Old place on Castlereagh Rd (NSW) that looks like it fell from the sky
We got to spend about 6 weeks in Sydney before we started our big adventure.
There was family to stay with, friends to catch up with, cousins to play with, work to be done, weeds to be pulled, weddings to attend, birthdays to celebrate, weeds to be pulled, new farms to visit, wine to be drunk, weeds to be pulled, & possible future properties to explore.
There’s nothing like an unexpected early morning skateboard ride to get your blood pumping.
We thought arriving in Sydney in Spring would mean acclimatising gently. Pfft! Whatever!
Two days after we arrived, this happened…
Then the next day was like this…
Excuse me?
One minute we’ve got the fire going, & the next minute the fans.
It was so confusing.
Meanwhile……. back in Cairns…… it went a little something like this……
Mon- sunny & 20-28
Tue- sunny & 20-28
Wed- sunny & 20-28
Thu- sunny & 20-28
Fri- sunny & 20-28….. blah, blah…. blah…
We managed to
We were looking for a nice little town to call “Home” once we get back from travelling OZ.
We stayed at the B & B on Bettington. It was a lovely old place.
We spent most of our time driving around looking at some spectacular country. But we found a lot of this….
Patchwork filth
Hopefully there will be land left to buy when we get back.
Bet the children loved the snow, Sydney is notorious for its changeable spring weather
